day moon from NJ

When i was at New jersey on my grandpas farm the moon was out and a helicopter was flying over, so i grabbed my grandmas canon PowerShot SX200 and tired to get the picture when the helicopter went in front of the moon but was a little late. nice camera.

best saturn-4/25/09

I believe this is the best Saturn image of all of them

Saturn 4/25/09

These Saturn images are my best yet! Tonight was a great night! i just got a focal reducer and really wanted to test it out. It worked great with the webcam. It seemed easier The FOV was bigger. The Tracking on my mount was really good. the Crosshair eyepiece i made worked good ( Info equipment section). Everything was great. I used my 2x and 3x barlow. Used Registax to process the images. I believe i used the 2x barlow for most of the images.

Orion constellation

hey, i found out how to change the exposure on my camera. i could only change it to +2 so tonight i tried some brighter objects just holding the camera. this is what i got taking the orion constellation. I only could get the bottom half from the belt down. i tired the seven sisters but its hard to see it and my hand was shaky. The camera i used was a Panasonic 35mm digital camera. zoomed 12x.

Saturn and moon photos---3/29/09

Hey, Well tonight was somewhat clear, but the clouds moved in later. The moon was 14% full. I got some picture of that and Saturn looked cool as well. I didn't use a barlow on saturn. Used the webcam and the meade etx-125 telescope. and the uv/ir filter. now to the photos!!! I used Registax to stack the saturn images about 105 stacked each. i had some Problems running the software so i could only do short ones.
Thanks for looking!

Moon Stitched 2

Look at the right corner the crater that's a line. that's called Shiller, looks pretty cool. and the big crater near the center I believe is mosaic.

Moon Stitched

Hey, I downloaded this program called autostitch. so i went out tonight and got a bunch of pictures of the moon with my philips spc900nc webcam. i put all the pictures into this program and it put them together. I thought it did a pretty good job for freeware!

Used Etx-125 telescope.
